Patient Room

Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center has furnished and equipped your room to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The medical center offers private and semi-private rooms and will make every effort to honor the patient's choice based on bed availability at the time of admission.  There are a limited number of private rooms available. Note: Medical insurance may not cover the full cost of a private room.

Bed & Bedside Table

 The bed is electrically operated and can adjust to various positions. The patient's nurse will show the patient how to adjust it properly. The bed is also equipped with side rails for the patient's protection while sleeping or under sedation.
The bedside table contains a drawer for storage. If a patient wears glasses and/or dentures, they should be kept in a drawer for protection. Please do not place them on meal trays or on the bed and make sure all personal items are packed prior to leaving for home.
 

Telephone

Relatives and friends may reach a patient in the room by dialing 352.795.8354 or 352.489.2022 and entering the room and bed number when prompted. If they do not know the room number, they can call 352.795.6560 or 352.489.2022 and ask the operator to connect them. Patients may make local calls by dialing "9" to receive an outside line and then dialing the number. Long distance calls must be made using a calling card or calling collect. Should a patient be in the need of a calling card, one can be purchased in the Gift Shop.

To help ensure all of our patients receive the rest and privacy necessary, we ask that no calls be received between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. If there is an urgent need to contact a patient, please ask the operator to contact the nurses station for assistance.

 Rooms are equipped with an individual thermostat to ensure each patient is comfortable A television featuring both local and national stations is available in each room  The Citrus County Chronicle is delivered daily to patient rooms compliments of Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center Volunteer Service League.
