Seven Rivers Regional joined the Institute for Healthcare Improvement on another initiative -- the 5 Million Lives Campaign -- a national campaign to dramatically reduce incidents of medical harm in U.S. hospitals.

SRRMC joined the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's 100,000 Lives Campaign - an initiative to engage U.S. hospitals in a commitment to implement changes in care proven to improve patient care and prevent avoidable deaths. The Campaign is the first national effort to promote saving a specified number of lives by a certain date (June 14, 2006).

Named a Quality Respiratory Care Recognition hospital for 2008, 2007 and 2006 by the American Association for Respiratory Care.

Performance Achievement Award for Hospital Quality Improvement in Pneumonia and Surgical Care Improvement (8th Statement of Work)-2008. Partner with Florida Medical Quality Assurance, Inc. as a Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for projects on heart disease, pneumonia and surgical site infections, to name a few.
